Registration/Cancellation procedure for NK2010 version 2.0

1. You are already registered and decide to come in September (11. - 15.): your registration is still valid, no action is required. However, you will have to book your hotel again (deadline: 15th July 2010).

To book a room in the Croatia or Supetar Hotel, please use the links provided at http://nkdubrovnik.com/index.php?s=accomodation and enter the following registration code: “NK2010” (or “nk2010”) to get the special NK2010 Meeting rates. Please use the online form for the booking. Use the same link http://nkdubrovnik.com/index.php?s=accomodation if you prefer private accommodation; there you will find relevant contact details.

Please note that it is highly recommended that you book your accommodation before the given deadline. After this date, the Croatia Hotel will no longer be able to guarantee the availability of the rooms due to high tourist season.

You can book the accommodation starting from April 22nd 2010!

2. You cannot participate in the rescheduled meeting in September, but another member of your lab/institute can substitute for you. If this person falls within the same registration class (student, postdoc, SNI member etc), we can offer transferring your registration to this new participant without additional cost. Please contact us (info@nkdubrovnik.com) if you want to use this option.

3. You cannot participate in the rescheduled meeting in September and want to cancel your registration. You have to notify us by email (info@nkdubrovnik.com) until May 1st to receive a refund of your registration fee. Please note that due to the last minute cancellation and re-scheduling of the meeting we did occur unplanned and additional costs. We are therefore anticipating that we will not be able to refund the entire registration fee. However, in order to refund a maximal possible amount, we can determine the refund amount only after we know the exact number of cancellations (after May 1st). The refund will be processed in the form of your initial payment (credit card or bank transfer). In the case you prefer bank transfer, please provide us with your bank account details (bank name and full address, account holder and address, IBAN (and/or account number), SWIFT). If you opt for the refund to your credit card, please confirm that you would like us to credit the same card you charged upon payment of the registration fee.

Please note that if you cancel after May 1st, the original cancelation policy will be applicable and you will only be refunded 40% of the registration fee (for cancellations between May 1st and August 28th). For cancellations after August 28th we cannot issue any refund.

4. You wish to register as a new participant. The registration opens on Monday, 26th April 2010! Use the link at the top of this page to register. New early registration deadline is 1st July 2010.

The registration fee for all participants includes:

- access to all official congress sessions, the exhibition and poster area

- the Welcome Reception (buffet dinner, welcome drinks, traditional Croatian vocal group klapa) on 11th September

- a congress bag (containing congress material including the Final Programme and the Abstract Book)

- buffet lunch (on the 12th, 13th and 14th September)

- buffet dinner (12th September)

- traditional Croatian dinner (13th September)

- Farewell Banquet (14th September)

- five coffee breaks

- open bar during the Poster Session I (12th September)

The registration fee for accompanying persons includes everything listed above, except for the access to official congress sessions, poster sessions, coffee breaks as well as congress materials.

Please note that housing is not included in the registration and you can book your hotel room (including breakfast) here.

On the afternoon of 13th September 2010 we will have an optional boat trip to Dubrovnik. We recommend that you book this optional boat trip (cost: 33 €) together with your registration.
